The Japanese occupation of Hong Kong began on the 25th December 1941. It occurred after 18 days of intense fighting, the occupation lasted for 3 years and 8 months until Japan surrendered.

The Walking Dead; All Out War Review

Well another Zombie themed table top game has hit the market. Though this one is based on the Walking Dead comics IP, which in turn is the IP used for the popular TV show of the same name. Which means most people will recognise most of the characters and features of the game from either the comic books or TV show which is currently in its 7th series. As the game is based on the comic book IP, the characters resemble the comic versions rather than the TV actors.

 If like me you not only play table top war-games but board games as well. You probably have one or two miniature board games in your collection. Well, I have several, and I’m one of those gamers who prefers his miniatures to be painted. So for the next twelve months I plan to paint all of the miniatures in each and every one of my board games.

My first post for a while is a quickie looking at a D20 Modern Pulp style D20 background, that could easily be used as a background for a skirmish wargame with a pulp feel. Zulu War and Isandlwana

The Anglo-Zulu war was fought between the British Empire and the Zulu Nation. The war would effectively end Zulu independence and dominance over native tribes in the region. The Zulu tribe originated from North of Africa and displaced the original inhabitants of the Kalahari Desert. By the 17th century the Zulus were fully settled in the area known as KwaZulu.
